Gibson has been involved in class actions involving farming and crop disputes, class actions involving hazardous substances and the resulting real property damage, class actions involving product defects including construction and automobile products, and class actions involving contractual disputes.  He also litigates individual cases in complex personal injury matters, real property and property development disputes.  The firms' work has involved him in matters pending in various state courts as well as in several different federal districts.  Prior to joining the firm, Gibson's practice areas included product liability and commercial litigation.

Member of the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the South Carolina Bar Practice and Procedure Committee, the U.S. District Court for District of South Carolina, the American Bar Association, the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Richland County Bar.

Education and Honors

Gibson attended Clemson University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995.  He then received his M.P.A. degree from Clemson University / University of South Carolina Joint Graduate Program in 1997.  Gibson then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D. 2000).   While at Clemson, he became a member of Tiger Brotherhood.

Gibson has been a Law Clerk to the Honorable Perry M. Buckner, Chief Administrative Judge, Fourteenth Judicial Circuit.

Personal History

Gibson Solomons was born in Hampton, South Carolina, on October 29, 1973.  He married Lorrie Reynolds Solomons on December 21, 1996.  Together they have one daughter, Eliza and one son, Ben.
