We have been involved in this area for over 20 years. Our principal subspecialty has been asbestos property damage cases. In this area, we have obtained recovery for our clients of over $140,000,000 since 1987. We have brought actions in over 20 states including Alaska, Arizona, California, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Hampshire, Tennessee and Puerto Rico. We have been, or are, class counsel or co-class counsel in three national class actions involving asbestos: In re: Asbestos School Litigation, 789 F.2d 996 (3d Cir.), cert. denied 479 U.S. 852, 915 (1986); Central Wesleyan College, et al. v. W.R. Grace & Co., et al., 143 F.R.D. 628 (D.S.C. 1992), aff’d 6 F.3d 177 (4^th Cir. 1993); and Prince George Center, Inc. v. United States Gypsum Co., No. 5388 (Pa.Comm.Pleas, Philadelphia County April 18, 1992). We are also class counsel in class actions in South Carolina and Puerto Rico.

Some of the more notable cases we have tried are: City of Greenville v. W.R. Grace and Co., 640 F.Supp. 559 (D.S.C. 1986), aff'd 827 F.2d 975 (4th Cir. 1987); Hebron Public School District No. 13 v. U.S. Gypsum, 953 F.2d 399 (8th Cir. 1992); Kansas City Airport, a Municipal Corporation v. W.R. Grace & Co., 855 S.W 2d 360 (Mo. banc 1993); Northridge Co., v. W.R. Grace & Co., 556 N.W.2d 345 (Wis. App. 1996); and Clayton Center Associates v. W.R. Grace & Co., 861 S.W.2d 686 (Mo.App. 1993).
